From myself and my new husband, we want to thank Solent Hotel so so much for everything they have done for us and our wedding. We had the most magical day and honestly could not have asked for more! The hotel itself looked absolutely amazing and so much better than we could have imagined! The wedding venue/room looked stunning at every part of the day, everyone who was involved in making our room look lovely, done an amazing job and we couldn’t have asked for more. We honestly was so happy with how’s things went and so grateful to Rio and Caz for how smoothly the day went too. We loved every second of it and we can’t wait to come back to visit Solent again. You have honestly given us the best experience at planning a wedding at no point have we felt stressed or worried as I've heard some people say planning a wedding. You made sure every single detail we wanted was done and took so much on yourself to save us the worry. I honestly could not recommend having a wedding at Solent hotel more. You truly are amazing and we will treasure the memories you helped make forever!

First of all, we want to deeply thank Rio personally for helping us with our wedding. We really appreciate her being with us, assisting us with every single thing, advising us on everything, being prompt and helpful at every stage of the wedding preparation. It was a pleasure working with her! Thank you so much for the anniversary stay voucher! It’s so generous and kind. We will definitely use it next year! We had a really good time, everything was organised properly and went smooth and nice. We want to say thank you to the staff, including Rio and Caz. Once again, thank you so much for everything you did to us! We knew straight that we made the right choice having our wedding at Solent.

We would just like to say a massive thank you for all the help. I had been filled with so many nerves leading up to the day and it couldn't have been more perfect.. I am so very grateful to all of the team at the Solent for helping our special day come together so well. Caz was incredible on the day and was consistent and caring with us and I couldn't have asked for a better job to have been done by her. The food was INCREDIBLE  and I want to do it all over again.. so does George. The Solent hotel will always hold a special place in our hearts as it did even before the wedding.. Thank you again guys, you did amazing!!!

The food was outstanding, and everyone we asked said that too. Also we’re still trying to get through the cake, delicious. The DJ was brilliant as you said he would be and honestly think it was the best we couldn’t have ever expected.

Not a week goes by without us recalling our wonderful wedding day. The preparation and attention to detail by Rio made the months leading up to our wedding very enjoyable. The final details meeting and being introduced to Caz made us both feel very comfortable knowing we were in safe hands.

On the wedding day we can’t thank Caz enough for an amazing day keeping us informed along the way. Everything felt amazing. The presentation of the evening function room set up was spectacular and we were so pleased. We'd like to thank Steve for also making the rest of the night a complete success for us. We loved the playlist and how everything worked so well with Jodie Vinall the singer. It certainly kept everyone on the dance floor.

We chose to book our wedding at the Solent hotel and we are so glad we did! The hotel itself is stunning. The food was amazing and we had nothing but positive feedback from our guests about the whole day. We can’t thank Olivia, Ash and the rest of the staff we dealt with they were honestly amazing nothing was too much trouble for any of them. The whole day from start to finish was amazing, just wish we could do it all again! We had a vision in mind and they made sure it came to life for us, the whole day was magical.

From the beautiful table for our ceremony to the complete lack of love hearts for our drinks reception, there were so many little details that you both made sure were perfect! The way Olivia dealt with the photo booth issue so smoothly and got it sorted so quickly was amazing. You both took the stress and worry out of every aspect and we’re so grateful! We really appreciate everything you did so much, and so many of our guests commented on what an amazing job you did. You two make the most amazing team, anyone who has you coordinating their wedding is very lucky! So thank you both so much!

We held our wedding at the Solent Hotel after a long delay because of covid. The day was perfect, everything we imagined and hoped it would be. We cannot thank everyone enough, our wedding planner Olivia and her team were brilliant, throughout the day nothing was too much trouble and we were able to enjoy a wonderful stress-free day. We used the hotel suppliers for the cake, DJ, table decorations and chair covers who were all amazing and provided just what we wanted. We would definitely recommend the Solent Hotel as a wedding venue and looking forward to returning for our anniversary.

We just wanted to thank you both for everything you did to make yesterday absolute perfection! As you can imagine we have had lots of sleepless nights on the lead up to the day, worrying about what our day will look like. But I never in a million years thought it would be as incredible as it turned out to be. 

From the initial meeting with you Jessica, we knew that having our wedding at the hotel was the right choice. You've answered all our questions so quickly and really put our minds at ease from the start, nothing was too much trouble and you listened to all our wants and made the day possible!

Ash, we cannot begin to put into words how fantastic you were yesterday! Nothing was too much trouble and you were there to support with everything. Everybody has told us just how good yesterday was and how delicious all the food was. The whole day ran so smoothly and I know lots of effort went on behind the scenes and you made us feel very special. The little touches in the suite were lovely and you nailed the decor of the room.

Thank you to all of the team. Louise, our Wedding Co-Ordinator was excellent throughout the whole process of booking our wedding. She was always so very helpful and kind. She answered all of my emails no matter how many questions I asked and wasn't pushy at all. A really lovely lady! Imogen the host was amazing. She was there with me throughout every step of the way on my day. She was really supportive and made our day. She made our dreams come true and is absolutely fantastic at her job! I am so grateful to her and genuinely feel speechless when I think how hard on our day. The food was 5*+ all my guests are still talking about how amazing the food was and how full up we all were. It was delicious. Best Eton mess I've ever had! The Carisbrooke suite was beautiful the team worked so hard. I was so pleased. The team really did smash our expectations and went above and beyond. I'm going to remember this day for the rest of my life. I'm so incredibly grateful.

Well what can I say!!! My husband and I got married in The Carisbrooke room at The Solent Hotel and Spa in May this year. Louise was just absolutely fantastic, reassuring and patient with all of our requests at all times. All our needs and wishes were catered for. The venue looked stunning on the day, all the guests commented on all the fine details and how perfect everything was. Jake was also great, very calming and made sure everything went as planned. The food was out of this world, so many compliments received. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Louise and Jake, and thank you Solent Hotel and Spa for making our dreams a reality!

All the team did a fab job with the quick setup and changeovers of the room which made the day go smoothly. We are also so thankful to the Kitchen Staff and the Chef as the food was incredible! The day was absolutely perfect, it couldn't have gone better, and I really wouldn't have changed anything - it really was perfect. Thank you to Louise & Josh, you’ve both been absolutely lovely! Josh was great in our first meeting and on the day - he really made us feel like everything was under control. He was also a great Master of Ceremonies and was very helpful on the day, but also made sure we didn't worry about anything. All in all, the day was perfect from start to finish, in no small part down to Louise, Josh and the rest of the team that played a part in our day. Thank you so much for everything.
