Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

Portsmouth is a working Naval Base and is home to a collection of interesting attractions including historic ships like the HMS Warrior 1860 and museums. Portsmouth Dock is special in the fact it is the only place to find Royal Navy past, present and future. You will find HMS Victory, best known for its role in the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. 400,000 people visit the ship each year, so it’s a must-see when visiting the dockyard.

New Forest

Discover some of the most beautiful and charming forestry in all of England in the New Forest National Park. Once serving as a royal hunting ground for William the Conqueror and becoming a national park in 2005, the park covers an area of 566 square kilometres of gorgeous woodlands, heathland and river valleys. the area is home to a variety of delightful wildlife including deer, ponies and cattle, providing a tranquil haven of nature amongst the clear rivers and shady groves. With over 140 miles of tracks and footpaths, the park is perfect for a day of walking, and is a great opportunity to take advantage of our bike hire's for a cycling adventure amongst gorgeous scenery.

Titchfield Nature Reserve

Stretching across 369 acres of the Meon Valley the reserve features a river, pools, meadow and plenty of walking routes. It’s the perfect place to see some of the great wetland wildlife in their natural habitat.

Whiteley Shopping Centre

Whiteley Shopping is a natural and outdoor environment with open spaces and public art. Whiteley Shopping offers the best mix of shops so there's plenty of options. You'll find lots to see and do also, including the Rock Up climbing centre and watch a film at Cineworld.

Sea City Museum

Sea City Museum tells the story of the people of the city of Southampton and their lives. Find out more about the historic connections with Titanic and the sea. Discover the maritime history and see it come to life through an interactive experience designed for all the family. Visit the ‘Gateway to the World’ gallery and learn about the history of the people who have passed through Southampton throughout history.

Coastal Beaches

Being so close to the coast you can soak up the sun at the coastal spots of Lee-on-Solent and Hill Head beaches. Take a stroll on the beach, jet ski or browse the shops. This stretch is popular with water sports enthusiasts offering sailing and windsurfing as well as a popular fishing spot. The shoreline overlooks one of the busiest sea lanes to and from the English coast, this is a great spot for just watching the boats come and go.

Paultons Theme Park – Home of Peppa Pig World

The park is home to Peppa Pig World, where you can enjoy all the rides and meet Peppa and her friends. With more than 70 rides in the park set in the 140 acres just on the edge of the New Forest, there is an attraction for all ages.
